Enfield Youth Advocate Programme
27th March 2024
Join us for the Enfield Youth Advocate Programme. A unique opportunity for young residents aged 16-30 to make a difference in their community!
Partnering with Healthwatch Enfield, Listen to Act is embarking on this exciting project funded by Maximus to empower young residents in or around Enfield housing estates.
Our goal is to address the impact of housing quality on health and well-being, while also enhancing employability, boosting digital competency, and fostering community activity among participants.
Through a quality-assured course that is nationally recognised led by our Youth Engagement team, participants will learn essential skills for community organising and advocacy. They will have the opportunity to become Community Activists, leading engagement, research, and advocacy efforts to drive community change and make an impact.
Join us for the training session:
Introduction to Community Organising on 24th May from 10.30-4.30
This is a comprehensive 6-hour session. Food will be provided and participants will receive a certificate after completing the six hours. For more details on the training, click here: https://www.corganisers.org.uk/training/
